I loved this concept! Thought the Mac style dock was cool - I could use the expanding titles right now. I really think Microsoft is heading in the right direction as far as looks and ease of use go.

I certainly agree with jdc about how microsoft tends to copy things into their OS and say it was their Idea. But there are a few things that I like about this. First off, the now minimalist Task Bar (OSX anyone?), the breakoff taskbar and how it can be moved now anywhere and minimized (OSX/Win7), I really liked the new start button and task bar, that actually is something Ive been customizing my XP inststallation to do for awhile, the separation is great because alot of the time it just becomes a pain to have them there and not hidden until I really need it.

Now the new File organization method, Im not entirely sure where that came from, but I like it. If it makes finding my files faster and easier then great! Now, if there were a way to pin files and folders to the desktop without creating shortcuts (they get so annoying after some time)

I just feel Wow, it is easy to the user Taskbar is not consuming workspace everything is at hand.
Start menu is not cluttered but divided to three convinient categories.

Cullen, you are a UI and UE genius.

The Windows 8 video looks good. I'm not sure if I need all those features, or if most users will understand them. I'm curious to see the 'Minimum System Requirements' for that system. It's gotta be Microsoft's most bloated and hardware intensive OS ever. I bet it would gag a laptop with an AMD 2.0ghz processor and 2gb of RAM, I doubt it would even install an Atom N270 32 bit Netbook with Intel GMA 950 graphics and only 1gb of RAM, like the one I'm using right now.

I like it but
I just wish you'd leave the taskbar the same as XP.
